Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1

Departure

Flight from home country to Addis Ababa.

Day 2

Fly to Bahir Dar & Zege Peninsula

Transfer to domestic airport, flight to Bahir Dar. Check-in at hotel, visit local markets. Afternoon boat trip to Zege Peninsula.

Day 3

Blue Nile Falls & Gondar

Morning drive to Blue Nile Falls. Lunch in Bahir Dar, then transfer to Gondar.

Day 4

Gondar & Semien Mountains

Visit Gondar Royal Enclosure (Gemp). After lunch, drive to Debark, enter Semien National Park, start trekking to Sankaber.

Day 5 - 13

Semien Mountains Trekking

Trekking highlights: Sankaber, Geech, Chennek, Ambiko, Ras Dashen, Dilibza, Saba Selassie, Debre Selam, Meshaha River Camp. Camping with full board support (camping gear, mobile toilet, shower). Day 13: rest day at Meshaha River Camp to relax and enjoy the scenery.

Day 14

Tekeze Bridge & Gorge

Transfer to gorge area for swimming and relaxation near Tsiska.

Day 15

Transfer to Lalibela

Arrival in Lalibela, prepare for rock-hewn church tour.

Day 16

Lalibela Rock-Hewn Churches

Full-day exploration of North & South Churches, Ethiopia’s 8th wonder.

Day 17

Return to Addis Ababa

Flight to Addis Ababa, day rooms for rest, evening transfer to Bole Airport.
